into the wild

1. Initial reaction is mixed. The premise is interesting and the action of dropping your life basically brings up many interesting thoughts about life and the ties what we can break to everything at any time. The character not so good and seems like he doesnt get the big picture some times.
2. Chris in one word would be wrong. He's always doing something wrong. He goes into the wild with barely anything just about asking to die, leaves all the wonderful things he has nad for what? To prove his point? WRONG. Its just wrong like everything about the situation he puts himself in even if in someway has some story justice or moral victory is wrong.
3. The theme to me personally is gonna have to be strength. Strength of character and ideal. Chris although I personally hold some distain for did something that I would never be able to do. Sometimes I want a break from life but actually to go to the core of nature and just jump in is crazy and it takes strength. Also maybe a bit of seperation looking at it. Maybe if your were to relate it to the mind. Always being trapped even if in something perfect you just long for more.
4. Im gonna stretch it and say that I see fight club. Fight club unique in the way that it takes it characters and makes them a society based on idea and the need to do things never done. Chris taking this journey is much like tyler starting the club and getting the group together to fight new battles.
5. I relate in the way that life needs new things. Doing what I always do just isn't enough I want that big journey that when you look back you go that made life worth it. That one defining moment where I did something I thought impossible against all odds and at least had the courage to try is the moment I stive for much like the story of into the wild.
6.Society has the same issues in the fact of traditions. Everything has been the sa,e since the start of time. What nations have crossed the borders not out of hate but to walk a mile in anothers shoes. What big changes to life have come as a whole to society and not just a few peoples dream.

bad review

A. Hostel. A movie about a tourist who goes to this hotel in amsterdam with promise of hot girls gets there and finds them but everyday upon waking another of the people he came with dissapears. So he talks to other people at the hotel and tries to figure out what happens and ends up falling into the same evil torture trap. The movie is ended by his great escape rush.
B. It was a stupid bloody b movie horror flick. The plot is stupid and predictable and the blood is just gruesome you leave the moving feeling grossed out and unhappy. Simply put it sucked I may be jaded by my dislike of horrors but no matter how you look at it its not winning any awards.
C. Theme is survival of the fittest and money is power. These people come and pay so much money to kill people often slowly. It is horrible they also have the main character often running from certain death while his friends doing the same die which is porving survival of the fittest.
D. Main character Josh is a young travler backpacking in europe and is unrelatable at least for me because of his stupidity and lack of ability to get away from his problems. Kana the girl is also a depresing character and it just doesnt fit together for a good movie.
E. Way the move was fimled was amateur and went for most gruesome effect but is stupid because it just makes you grossed out and encourages the viewer to feel what the character feels which is death.
"I get alot of money for you, and that makes you my bitch."

movie and other review

Good review:
For my good review I have the movie Stranger than Fiction with Will Ferrell. It is about your average man who one day starts hearing a voice that narates his life as he lives it. Like most books it forshadows and in some cases this frightens him. Such as when it narates that he will die. The movie is the portrayal of him living his life in a plethera of funny and sad encounters looking for meaning.
I think the plot is genius it has twists and good personal message and it is paced well to keep you intrigued for the whole thing spreading out the comedy and little action well throughout. The things the characters do like play music, go to work, and live are all also very relatable so the plot is very appealing to an average joe like me.
The theme to the movie is live your life. The flaw in the main character is that he is too afraid of change or to try to do what he wants that his life is monotonous. The theme is simply live your life and do what you were born to do.
The main characters are amazing and because we are given such a solid background on them. Will ferrell is the average worker who you sympathize with and then the girl main character is a baker with a bit of spunk. They combine for a very solid couple of people to live out an exciting story of life.
Artistry is everything in this moive. It is put together as what I call the most high quality movie of all time they made a solid movie gold by doing everything perfect. It frames, zooms, follows, and animates every shot. Favorite quote "Who when given the choice of living or eating pancakes chooses pancakes. Well now Harold I think you should think about the type of life lived and of course ..... the quality of the pancakes".

president

I would like to begin this blog by saying congrats to Obama and that I personally am very happy to be lead by a man like him. If I were to have 2o minutes to talk to him I would ask him about many things. First I would ask about the economy being one of the new people in the work force I want to know that my tidings will continue to be good. I know he wants to help the middle class a group in which I am a part of so I would ask what he plans to do for me. Then I would move on to fuel and what kinds of thing he will do to change cheapen and increase gas productivity or other fuel sources. This is also important to me now that I work at a gas station. Next I would ask about war and how he plans on getting us out so we can start saving that money and the countless lives lost on a stupid vendetta. Out of all the political issues those are the only ones that I personally would feel need to be answered for myself. In four years I see a more stable economy with more jobs and also a more peaceful time free of war and hopefully modern science abiding new fuel in the tank at work. This would be a perfect world. War sometimes hard to stop and science hard to predict though the only thing that I want for sure would be a better more stable economy. In 2035 I think over population will be a large problem. Also the over independence of society on the technology that drives us. Another possible thing is that being such a greedy people the gre4at expansion and the great frontier of space I assume will have more importance and possibly could be the topic of another fight between nations. I'd like to end by saying global peace out
